Course Aim(s) - Basic introduction to sound recording and studio awareness

Course Learning Outcomes - the students will show an understanding of different sound recording techniques and apply them by recording a band, which will be provided by the tutor. The students will show an understanding of music software and how to use various different devices such as Microphones, Mixing consoles and other music/studio equipment. The student will achieve this by producing a recorded CD of their work, which they can take to the next course.
