Course Aims:

Basic introduction to music technology and various applications/software to produce, mix, master, remix and edit audio. Course Learning Outcomes - the students will show an understanding of different music software and apply this knowledge to create a piece of music which will then be burnt to CD for them to take away. The students will show an understanding of MIDI, audio editing and basic mixing and mastering. The tutor will provide either a stem of music recorded from the Introduction to Sound Recording class or a set of samples so the students can create their own piece.
