Courses

Cloth Cat's main activities centre around a unique programme of FREE training in music based learning, run in partnership with the WEA and Leeds City College. We offer a range of courses and support, targetting people living in inner city Leeds. If you want to develop your music or are taking your first steps, we have a range of exciting and practical classes for you to explore. Our qualified tutors have loads of experience, on hand to support you through. Look at the list on the left hand side of this page to see what is available at the moment. The courses in BOLD are definitely running, others will depend on interest and funding (email or ring us if you're interested).

Our courses are free to those living on low incomes and benefits in the area, otherwise there may be a small cost. All we ask is the commitment to finish the course and to produce your own music. Soon the tunes created on our courses will be aired at upcoming events in Leeds.

A one-off membership fee to Cloth Cat of £1 gives you access to all our courses, enables you to have more say in what Cloth Cat does. You'll also receive an e-newsletter, get the chance to access further support and loads of other benefits too.

The courses are in high demand, so book your place early, but please make sure you can commit to completing the course as places are at a premium!
